Fees

Please note fees are being re-evaluated for September 2017 and will likely be slightly higher.

The preschool charges £4 per hour.

A 3 hour session costs £12
A 4 hour session to include lunch club is £16
An all day session on Tuesdays costs £24

Families are charged £1.06 per half term and 44p per day to cover the cost of snacks, photos and other craft or admin  material used by or for your child. This is the snack and admin fee.

For some 2 year olds (more information regarding the Government’s 2 year old funding scheme can be found on the Applying for a place at Rainbow page) and ALL children from the start of the term after their 3rd birthday, you can have 15 funded hours per week at Early Years setting of your choice. This means that your child can attend Rainbow for 15 hours per week, with only the snack and admin half termly fee to pay.

Invoices and payment options

Invoices for session and snack/admin fees are produced in the first fortnight of each half term, and you usually have 2 weeks to pay.

You have 4 options for how to pay the fees- cash, cheque, faster payments (bank transfers) or childcare vouchers.

Cash – the correct amount must be sealed in an envelope which has the child’s name, and what the money is for written clearly (eg, snack fees, sponsor money, lunch club etc). You will be given a receipt by a member of staff when this is handed in.

Cheques – made payable to Rainbow Preschool Playgroup. Please write your child’s name and the reason for the payment on the reverse. You will be given a receipt by a member of staff when this is handed in.

Bank payments – you can pay straight into our bank account if you prefer. Our bank details are written on the invoice. You will be given a receipt by the administrator when this enters the bank account.

If you are signed up to your workplace Childcare Voucher Scheme, we are happy to accept those. We would need to have details of the company you use before you pay so that we can set up an account or check that their details are correct. You will be given a receipt by the administrator when this enters the bank account.
